Co-extrusion is the generational step in this product family: as the core is extruded, a polymer shell is applied around it in the die and fused into it as one body.The 160 mm face also makes it an economical option: 6.25 m of board covers a square metre, 12.5% less than a 140 mm board. And at 2.351 kg per meter it is the lightest board in the range - a square metre of fence weighs only about 14.7 kg, lighter even than the 140 mm hollow board, so posts and footings carry the least.
